Hollywood Actors Reels is the actor-focused production program of NEVO Studio, an independent film studio based in Los Angeles.
Unlike traditional reel services, we don’t simply film acting scenes. We produce original cinematic micro-thrillers designed to stand on their own as complete short films.
Each story is professionally written, directed, and produced with the same goal as any great film—to engage an audience through compelling storytelling, memorable performances, and cinematic production value.
As a participating actor, you receive professionally edited footage for your acting reel while becoming part of an officially released NEVO Studio production created for a wider audience.
Whenever eligible, our official releases are submitted for IMDb listing as independent short films, giving participating actors the opportunity to receive an additional professional screen credit alongside high-quality promotional material.
Our goal is to create short films that people genuinely want to watch.
Sixth Feature Film Completed
NEVO is the sixth feature film directed by Paul Gerbert and is currently in post-production, continuing a filmmaking journey that spans six independent features.

Once your story is selected, you'll work with the director and your scene partner in Zoom sessions to explore the script, develop your character, define the emotional arc, and and rehearse the scene before production.

On the day of filming, you'll rehearse once more in the actual shooting environment before performing your scene on a professional film set using the same camera, lighting, and production workflow employed in independent feature fiilmmakimg.
